In 2008 I created the ZachAttacksCancer Foundation after my mother was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. After 2 fund raisers and
golf tournaments, my sister, Erica and I cut a check to the Fox Chase Cancer Center for Cancer Research for $85,000.
Erica and I both golf for the Council Rock North Golf Team in Bucks County, Pa. In 2010, we led our team to the PIAA State High School Team Championship and in 2011 Erica won the Girls PIAA State Title.
Its now 2012, and we are back on the fund-raising trail. This time our inspiration comes from two fellow Council Rock North students who just happen to be our friends: Chrissy Medici and Dana Demsko. Both are battling Leukemia at the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. We know first hand the battle Chrissy and Dana face everyday. And we want them to know WE CARE!
That's is why we are partnering with the Jack Nicklaus Children's Healthcare Foundation and PLAYING FORE THEIR FUTURE in support of CureSearch for Childrens Cancer.
We want Chrissy and Dana and their families to be able to look at this site every day and see the thermometer RISE. We want to give them the inspiration to keep fighting everyday. When you make the donation, please list your name and leave a message. We want Chrissy and Dana know we are all in this with them. And Erica and I play golf for YOU!
